MUHARRAM
the 10th day of muharram is the most controversial day in muslim calendar, for it is the day on which IMAM HUSSAIN the grandson of Prophet Muhhammad was slain wickedly at karbala. iraq has not been able to shake off its curse for this sad incident till date
but it is also the day on which jews used to fast to commemorate the saving of Moses on this day and the holy Prophet picked up this fasting from the Jews.
